Thou shalt not repeat your outfits.
This used to be my number one commandment when it comes to dressing, then I ended up with a wardrobe full of clothes but nothing to wear. Everyone has their own fail-proof formula. Simply ask yourself: If cafes are staycations, coffee shops are gas stations. So coffee shops are, yes, only for the energy boost mentally and physically, but not necessarily for chilling. (Will do another post on places that are great for people-watching and diving your heads into laptops, I promise!) These are the places I (only) get my coffee from, so please say hi if you see me there!
I was invited to a pop-up exhibition yesterday, curated by the Artisanal Movement, a journey amassing a modern living culture through their persistence in delivering bespoke craftsmanship manifested by originality. Creating the likes of Eight Kwai Fong, Cobo House, Artisan Room, K11, and having worked with designer-artists including Shunmyo Masuno and Lam Tung Pang, the Movement creates contemporary architectures with humanised aesthetics. Below are some shots from the exhibition: The exhibition will unfortunately not be open to public, but I'm sure we're all excited to see more hints of art in their new establishments.
